This 3.2 Carrera was on sale (private) in the classifieds a couple of weeks ago for £24,995, with circa 68k miles on the clock.

No guess who was bound to pick it up!
Now it's back on their website for £42,995., so a potential £18,000 profit!

So, whoever is moaning about how much it was a few weeks ago, you should have bought it and you too could have made an easy HUGE no hassle profit.
Or, its too dear and it wont sell.... I imagine the dealer knows his stuff, saw a bargain and has chosen to retail it, absolute best of luck to him. Don't for one minute underestimate the margin needed to retail this type of car, not only in refurb costs, but NO amount of profit would make me want to try retailing something like that. Dealing with some of the most uptight, anal twitchies ,that would make you feel you were married to them rather than the bloke who sold them a car. Stunning looking car though.

What the [heck] has it got to do with you? You didn't buy it when it was cheap and won't be buying it now so the answer is nothing! Someone bought it because it was priced low and will hang on to it until prices rise...that's what we call business. £18000 profit??? What about prep, warranty, overheads, stocking plans and the tax man?

The link says £44,995?
One would assume that this thread has got them some .........
........more profit.
Nice one OP!
Why? Have they sold it yet? Will anyone be daft enough to at that sort of money? One would assume that this thread has got them some .........
........more profit.
Nice one OP!
I have no problem with them buying for whatever and selling it at what they can get. I would question the sanity of anyone paying £45K for that.

Guess who loses out IF prices don't rise, and who wins and adds another pool to the one they already have.
The Internet is a great thing. Unless a dealer sits on it for a year, it's easy to see when an easy profit is being made.
Not judging one way or another, just saying
