Some of these other threads have started me thinking what are my top 5 porsches for my (real world) car collection, so here is my starter for 10 !!

Anyone else thought about this or is it just me ?

993 Cab
911 2.7 rs rep (with turbo engine)
965 turbo s (Black) The one out of bad boys film !
911 3.2 Carrera cab (non sport) in Gunmetal
993 GT2 or (GT2 Replica / ex race car)

Anyone got any advance on that ?

993 cab - probably yes (iris blue, varioram model)
965turbo, absolutely definite
911 2.7RS yes, 'cos its an icon
now it gets tricky! two cabs in your line-up, could argue to keep the 3.2 carrera cab and substitute a 993TT for the 993 cab.
could also argue that the 965 is sufficiently hairy and "bling" not to require a GT2, but then again a GT2 is equally an icon.
I'd put in one example of a front engined porsche, but then I am biased. probably my midnight blue 968cab though I'm sure the general consensus would be a 968CS (with LSD)
I get a feeling this thread might run and run...

If they have to be "real world" Porsches, then I won't put on a 917 or ultra rare cars. I'll keep each car to below 100 grand.

997S cab, when it arrives.

Cayenne S (to tow my RS).

My own 993 RS.

996 GT2, second hand, Ruf engine (a la GuyR).

The new Boxster Coupe 3.4 Clubsport when it arrives.

The list would be different if I could spend more than 100 grand on each car. Mind you, I would probably have to have a 997 GT3 and Turbo when they arrive.

Since everyones definition of 'real-world' can vary, I'll allow myself a little leeway with the £100k limit, but without going silly (ie no Dauer 962) and with 5 cars only:

Ruf R-GT2 (thanks for the compliment Johnny)

Ruf Cayenne Turbo

Ruf Yellowbird

Ruf RT12 Cabriolet (when available)

Carrera GT

And yes I know that Rufs aren't Porsches………..

Of the real world "affordable" pork, my garage would house:

911 2.7 RSL replica with revvy 3.2 race engine

964RSL mit Motec

993RS Clubsport avec 9m race engine (400+bhp)

968CS supercharged

996 GT3 Comfort (for everyday tooling around)

But then again, I how can you leave out the 993GT2? Maybe the GT3 would have to go, I could always drive a Smart Car everyday instead.
