wow! if I could justify it I would snap this baby up! there's something so cool about 80's porsches - it looks great!

any idea on the engine spec? I wonder if it has the G50 'box?

Be very suprised if it has the G50 box, they came in from '86....not to say one hasn't been fitted since?

Seems a fair price from the pictures,,,guve Northway a call if you are interested, they seem to have looked after it.

I really really want it! but I have absolutely nowhere to park it, and I also have 3 other cars. - it would be heartbreaking to bring it to my home when it could go to someone who could give it the use it deserves!

This doesn't do it for me at all - and I've got a targa...Maybe if it was turbo bodied coupe with pin-stripe seats then that would complete the 80's image.

I much prefer the later 80's styling on the 964, but the I'm biased....

Had an 86 SC Targa and loved it!

Regret selling it now.

Had a 89 Carrera 2 with the G50 gearbox for two years and I thought it was great. Even though it was a little scary in the wet.

mechanically it was superb..
no problems other than an alternator and a replaced oil pipe.

Body work was good , but there was a little rust around the petrol cap and on one of the wings.

but I havent seen it since 98. so dont know how well its been looked after.

great memories in it.

Asked my wife to marry me kneeling next to it under the moonlight....and we are still together!!

despite having a 993,996 and now gt3 since....she still loved the targa the best.

damn im convincing myself now

Mine is nicer, though I may be biased

Nah, it looks very nice, but the G50 'box I thought did not come in till the '87 3.2 Carrera's, unless it has had its origional 'box replaced.

Something along similar lines I was impressed with Colin Goodwin in Autocar, he bought a 1971 911S and used it to drive his wife on their honeymoon in Tuscany.

The smart part was that he would always be able to justify expenditure and keeping the car to his wife, just because of the fantastic memories...stoke of genius!

Dont think that would go down too well Greg.!

She would rather drive her megane scenic..

Sad eh.?
