My new S2 has 968CS sized wheels and tyres fitted. As it is a simialar weight to the CS what should the tyre pressures be?

I run design 90 wheels on my 944 and I run 36 PSI - If that helps.

The other way to test it is to get some chalk on the tyre - all the way across the width of the wheel - a few inches thick line.

Then drive the car for half a mile, if the wear is more on the two outside edges of the wheel you need more pressure, if the wear is on the middle of the tyre, you need less pressure, when the chalk disappearance is equal - Bingo - Perfect pressure!

Porsche suggest around 36psi, but I believe most owners run 32 or 34. It quietens down the ride a little with no handling ill effects.

I use 34 hot for track work in my CS.

Hope this helps
