I was driving the porsche back home the other day and was stuck in traffic behind lots of cheap tat cars (BMWs Audis etc) and I had a brainwave. Why don't we ban poor people from driving!?! That way we could drive our Porkers and Fezzers home without delay!

Ok it's a bit extreme so perhaps we could make it one special day a week. Saturday...

I made the mistake of taking a look at the other PH forums and I was amazed that lots of people who are clearly poor, actually own cars. Sometimes more than one! Go take a look you'll see for yourself.. but be warned there's some sorry examples out there..!

One impoverished chap bought an airfix kit and put a motorbike engine in it and takes that on track days!?! Madness! Aparently they're called Caterhams? I thought they were the people that make the food at dinner parties..

anyone else got relatives or chums in the House of Lords? Can't be too tough to get the bill passed..

But you're assuming that we have enough tarmac to allow the Ities a special breaking down lane to wait for their low loaders. Snarf snarf.

Yes I suspect I might get into trouble for being un-PC. I wrote to my MP asking if we could replace fox hunting for 'traffic light windscreen cleaner' hunting. Some daft law says you can't shoot them either.

As a poor person I'd like to say that I wholeheartedly agree with this idea.

It would be the respectful thing to do, to allow our superiors to have the queen's highway to themselves once a week and we could then look on in admiration as they showed off their beautiful cars and demontrated just how much richer and thereby better than us they were.

Ahh - thats because you phrased it wrong...

If you had replaced it with 'illegal immigrant' - they would have simply said 'if you can find them, you can shoot them'..

You're not poor. You drive a Porsche. If it's an older porsche then you're just eccentric. clearly. now if you drove an airfix kit with a motorbike engine then I'd say yes, you are poor

What are poor people. Can one eat them - do they come pre washed and wrapped in M&S? I don't understand.

Rather you than me. I had to shoot one last week who came out from nowhere, was babbling on about a big issue of some kind. He was clearly a danger to the public. Chief constable understood completely.

If poor people were banned from owning motorised chariots they could stand at the side of the road and marvel at how rapidly our motorised chariots can go without restriction.

One can only wonder at the motoring nirvanah ahead of us without the obsturction of their intolerable rust buckets clogging the highways.

I wish you gods speed in your quest Sir.

Why do you think there's a congestion charge in London? Its to keep peasants off the road so that we have more room to drive our Porsches into the City. The problem is that at current levels Ferrari drivers can still afford the charge even after they've paid their breakdown bills. When's the next Congestion Charge price rise? hehe

A most pertinent observation. thumbup

Current government policy is to drive poor people out of their cars by increasing both the costs of car ownership and usage. Policies such as high petrol taxation, increasing costs of Tax Dics, future planned road pricing etc. Although the poor are resisting this policy from our betters by driving cheaper or stolen cars, not bothering with insurance, registering cars in the name of strangers or relatives pitbulls, feeding their children crap food or even turning to crime such as theft, prostitution and drug dealing to finance the increased costs of car ownership.

Frankly all societies health woes, drugs and burgulary problems can be severely curtailed by abolishing taxes on motorists (Oh and speed limits on motorways for drivers of superior engineered German cars)

hehe

The man's a fool. How do you think I can afford to keep my manor clean and the gardens in a condition that visitors would find ammenable?

Have you any idea just how long the owner of a Porsche 993 could spend on polishing their horse brassings alone? Were it not for the hard working immigrant popluation working but for mere bun money and favour the grounds of my fair home would rapidly be lain to waste. Please have a heart.

I for one fully support the use of migrant labour just as long as they don't aspire to be availed of motorised transport.

Good suggestion dazren, but surely, if we simply took away poor people's driving licences then they would be easy to spot and then eradicate. For example, anyone 'not' driving a Porsche would be shot on site. Of course we'd have to bring in another law to prevent attempted theft, so anyone caught stealing our Porsche's would also be shot. Then there's the envy crime, so, anyone caught trying to damage a porsche.. shot.. snearing at a porsche.. shot.. delaying a porsche at a zebra crossing.. shot.. dammit man.. we could just give every damned porsche driver a gun and shoot who we bally well please

Edited by framps on Friday 22 September 14:56 good point.. while we're shooting the poor we better make sure the welsh don't invade
