Considering two porsches - am i mad?
Discussion
All this talk about the 997tt and the RUF RCT Evo (okay, i brought up the RUF admittedly) has got me thinking. Since i sold the 993tt and am back in a 993C2 as my daily driver, there's nothing stopping me from getting a "weekend toy".
Am i mad to consider an RCT Evo, or its inexpensive cousin the 965, as a 'weekender' when i drive a 993 every day?
I'd be thinking along the lines of a lhd 3.3, strip some weight out of it, put a 1 bar spring on it, and go from there...
no Prescott jokes please

Quite certainly! But don't let that stop you. If you can sort out the logistics go for it. Even if you decide in the future that you're not getting as much use as you think you ought to out of one or the other you can sell one and not lose your shirt.
The more the merrier man.
I started with the Boxster.
Then I got the 997.
I never did sell the Boxster.
Then I got rid of the 997 - bored of it and cost me too much.
Now I have just the Boxster.
I'm thinking of buying another Porsche.
Not yet decided which one, would like a nice 964. Not sure about the 993. I like the 996 and these are good money now although I cant decide which one. I want 2wd but I love the arse on the C4S. I quite like the idea of an anniversary edition with the X51 power kit or a GT3 obviously.

It's the Red Lyon, Hurley near maidenhead and is the Thames Valley TIPEC monthly meet. I like to keep things informal and all are welcome, no need to book etc as I always have loads of space there reserved for us.
We meet at 7.30pm first Tuesday of the month - next meet is 7 November
