Lovely and Gemballa are not two words that immediately suggest one another. Striking, surprising or impressive maybe - but calling a Gemballa lovely is like saying the sun is 'large and hot' when what you mean to say is that it's a 'hissing, spewing, angry molten f*cker a million times the size of the Earth'. I maintain that every time Uwe Gemballa actually sells a car, he walks back into the technicians to say "Ja, ja. Pay up lads - I sold one.' and all the mechanics and so on shake their heads, dig into their pockets and then get to designing something even more ridiculous to finally best their boss, amidst a flurry of comments like "did ve put vings on der seats yet?" and "How about ve put sreee engines in it - dass vuld be hilarriuss..".

She probably thought he loved his car more than her. And I guess since the car does everything he wants, he didn't need to drive other cars...
