G50 oil - synth ot semi synth?

Fitted upside down to an Ultima with a quaife geared ATB diff.

Anyone know if the OE recommended 75W-90 is fully or partially synthetic?

Not sure about the OE oil spec but if you have a lot of torgue the G50 box will struggle. I recommend you try Swepco - its really good and I have absolutely no allegiance to it! I used it in the racer and the gearbox life improved by around 200%. I assume the G50 is on standard syncro gears so I cannot remember the grade. Try Berlyn Services - I think they are an agent.
