yes its me! getting out of the ffing passenger side arse first as I cannot open the drivers door thanks to the useless ffing porsche warranty. the ffing electric window has broken - got rac out under the warranty and they have put a wedge inside the window to hold it up. great bar you need the window to go down before opening the door so I have to get out the passenger side.
rang up opc this morning and they cant look at it until tuesday. They cannot provide a spare car as you have to book this 2 weeks in advance ffs. if the car had broken down the rac would have provided a spare car but its still "usable"
so im stuck with it until tuesday and even then when I leave it at the opc they hav no spare car. YOU'RE A FFING GARAGE YOU HAVE CARS EVERYWHERE AND SHOULD BE PROVIDING YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE FFS.
The warranty runs out in a month a- its gone up from 895 to 1250 and this is the service i wont be renewing.

If it was a 9 month old 997 or Cayman you bought new from a dealer then the supplying dealer would probably try to look after you.
Dealers cannot have a massive fleet of loan cars sat around just in case anybody wants one at zero notice, when an electric window stops working.

Why take it to OPC anyway? By the sounds of it, it's a simple fix with just a couple of parts.
Take it to your local garage and get them to source the parts from OPC and you'll save a lot of labour costs!
You never know, they might have a loan car available - Get ready for a Micra or something tho!!

He's taking it to OPC because he invested in the warranty. Wouldn't really make much sense to then go and pay someone else to fix it!
Anyway.... I feel for you - it does sound frustrating. But if they're getting to it on Tuesday that doesn't sound too bad, so hang in there.
The courtesy car thing is interesting. I remember when my A3 was making frequent trips to the dealer (6 in 2 weeks once) and getting hold of car was a piece of piss. It just wasn't a problem, even at short notice - and certainly no charge. Conversely BMW used to quote that 2 week bulls
t to me and then want to charge me for the pleasure also....
That said Audi only got 1/10 for service. The scored 1 point for providing a courtesy car. They lost 9 points for not being able to fix the car. Ever. Despite it going in c.10 times with the same fault.
