Cleaned under car for the first time

On Friday it was the first time I've ever had the opportunity to clean under my 2003 996t and I would say it was the first time it had ever been cleaned. I couldn't get it up my ramps because of the overhang and it was difficult to get the Karcher wand in to all the spots, but it came up pretty goood in any case. Luckily here in Australia we don't have the corrosion you guys get so my actuators and heat shields are still very good considering they are 7 years old. I also pulled each of the wheels off and did in the arches too.

Powder coated your roll bar, not just me then that does that. I did the oil tank as well on mine.

No I think it is standard.

As over a period of time the paint peels off looks awful?.

Porsche undersides don't look like that after >3 months here with the crap they spread on the roads let alone 7yrs !!

I had my old GT3 done in Denmark for about 350gbp - lasts 2 years and I am sure you can have something done over here. Great if you use your car in all weathers
