Oulton RS Day 11/3/16
Discussion
Ha, beat me to it, was about to post that!
5 of us from Wiltshire are going down & having small bit of track tuition from Gary Marsh for the day (a need 4 speed). Looking forward to the day, first time at Oulton and the previous RS days videos I've seen look great!
Be a great few days away..Roll on

Thanks Melv. Booked.See you there.Edit: I could not find that when I looked yesterday. It's not showing on their regular calendar. Are they keeping it hidden?

Decided between Spyder or 211 yet, or keeping both?
Tricky question! Had more fun in the Spyder and was faster than the Lotus on the day but it wasn't perfect weather for the 211... I'll have another rematch when the track temp is higher I think! On the other hand a roof, radio and warranty is still tempting me to sell!

I have a feeling that the 2016 day will see less of the traditional participants (996/997 GT3/RS and 964RS) and more of the new guard (GT4 and 991GT3). Anything aircooled on track might be a rare sight on the day compared to recent years.
I may bring the 964 and throw some slicks/wets on it. Should be fun boxsey said:

I will be part of that trend - I won't be driving it next year (though might pop up to be sociable). It is a safe generalisation though - the decrease in GT3s on euro track days this year has been very tangible compared to only a couple of years back when they were pretty much ubiquitous.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
