What type of tyres for my 996?

Now have found a few places to buy tyres am finding it impossible to get the rear Michelen tyres, can get fronts not rears!!
If I need to switch what should I go for and why?

Looks like there will be some 285/30/18 N1 Pilot sports within the next few weeks. So, figure its best to wait since I only need rears right now.
What the general opinion of the Pilot sports compared to conti, brigston and perelli?
