Musty windscreen washer tank (993)

Is there an easy way to remove the washer tank for cleaning, the reason I ask is that from owning the car every time I use the winscreen washers I also get a musty smell inside the cabin.
The previous owner of the car owned it for almost a year but only covered a few hundred miles so I'm guessing it had been left standing with a little water in the tank and over time this water has has gone off and left some moldy residue on the inside of the water tank.
It has never really bothered me before but at this time of the year when you are constantly washing your windscreen the smell has started to get on my nerves.
