Recently I've been so busy that the pork has been left in the garage for the past month.

The last time I drove it was to the TVR -v- Pork rolling road contest back in Sept.

Woke up early this morning to go into work and though that I might just cheer myself up a bit, enjoy the empty roads and drive the 993.

Opened up the garage being prepared that I'd have to jump start but it turned over first time. A few splutters and the engine roars into life. No doubt I woke the neighbours as the curtains started twitching.

Burble off down the road getting used to the car again and by the time I'm near the A-road the fluids are nicely up to temp.

At the t-junction, not a car in site. Decisions decisions. Right turn to the office. Left turn for a hoon.

scratchchin

Got into work 1 hour later than I should have done hehe

It's been so long since I drove it that I'd forgotten how it brakes, grips and powers out of the bends with a whiff of opposite lock on damp, dewy roads.

God, I love this car

Shame the drive home won't be anywhere near as much fun irked

I now think the daily snotter has 2 jobs, 1 to do the mundane A to B stuff and also to remind me what an RS is all about.

Does your alarm kill your battery?

I thought it would have done as the last time I put it in the garage I was in a rush and forgot to attach the trickle charger.

Battery should be nicely charged now
