browsing youtube.com after watching the 'gumball' gt2...

i found that little gem that i am sure many of you have seen already...

I had not seen it my self for 15 years (i had seen it by chance only once on french tv)...

not really porsche related (only mercedes and ferrari), but i found it while looking for porsche stuff....

merc 6.9 sel => yes it is true for the car and it is claude lelouch (a big car fan himself) driving it... and not jacques laffite or any other racing driver as the legend suggested.

the soundtrack is ferrari is 275 gtb i heard: he drove the exact same road with the ferrari afterwards to get a matching soundtrack!

He choose to drive the merc because it has hydropneumatic suspension and this was much better on paris cobbled streets at the time for the camera stability.

they did only one shot for the movie in 1976 and did not receive any assistance to close any road. They had made the decision to shoot this movie the night before around a few drinks...

Anyone to do the same in London?
