Still no joy on the search for the next motor then? If not a 993RS, what else have you got your eye on?

Still looking for the "right" 993 RS......Carreraboy was very generous in letting me pilot his fine 64RS the other day, very impressive at the upper end of the rev range....I was still a little delerious after driving a real 2.7RS on a stright through pipes a few hours earlier

When you are in a lift enduced slide in a 911, the level of throttle application will have as much if not more of an impact (no pun intended) than the steering wheel. Quite severe angles of slide can be brought back in check with appropriate levels of throttle application. Some even release the steering wheel or let it slide through their fingers until the natural angle of slip is acheived, then apply the throttle and by powering out of the slide the car will straighten up. Once you have a secondary slide due to the massive weight transfer of the engine, unless you really meant to do it, or really know intuitively how much throttle to apply it becomes sticky.

John - You only need the steering wheel for parking m8

Looks to me he turned in too early, lifted and caused the slide. Then the usual overcorrection..
