Looks good. Is there any material fitted to the inside of the clip that presses against the window? How is the clip open/closed - it doesn't look like it can be done without a tool

Cheers

Does look good , would suspect that an Allen key would be required to open the catch. Appears to be no rubber facinng on the screen side of the catch:-

Although it would be easy enough to add somthing.

Yes an allen key will be required to open/close, I am told there are two reasons with security being the primary one and to tighten properly being the other.

Sorry bout the pic it was taken prior to the clear pastic protective facing being put on the underside of the clip to stop damage to the window.

looks great, but I cannot be bothered mucking around with an allen key each time I want to remove the rear screen.

They do look good, however, has anybody sorted the problem of the rear screen on a MK2 being held properly in place around the top left and top right - without bonding the glass panel to the car!

Mines has got a tiny little locator part now but I'm not sure it will last that long.

AT LAST !!!!!!!!!!!

At long last I have a pair of working window clips!!! No more leaks! I have the first pair, which are made from polished aluminium and I have been asked to try them out. I had to alter the screw holes slightly in the bodywork, and I opted to swap the "TVR factory" self tappers for the machine bolts and nuts provided with the kit. A very solid job and they look great.

Please find my car with a Raceproved Tuscan Window clip fitted !

These will be on sale before Christmas and details will be on the Raceproved Website Soon

Just fitted a pair (T1), mostly happy with them - just would've been nice if the bolt hole spacing was the same as the originals.

I haven't received mine yet. Is the bolt hole spacing different where fixes to the car? Did you need to drill new holes or just enlarge a bit.

Don't really want to be drilling.

I wonder if TVR clips were drilled on the car?

Drilled one new hole each side, there's appx 1/4" difference in the hole spacing.

I doubt that the original clips were all diffferent, and the two of us that've posted about fitting the raceproved ones have had to elongate/drill new holes.........

Did you use the bolts they supplied? If so how did you get the back of them to fit the nuts?

Yes.

Pull the boot carpet away & you can get to the back of the bolts.
