OK slight update, the part the supplier has in stock appears to be identical, but, the connector pins are not on the new parts, so there will be a couple of hours soldering involved.
I am going to order one to see if its OK, before messing everyone about.
Regarding stock levels, there are actually only 20 in stock at the moment, so i would guess if the part does check out OK, we will have to work out a way of doing this fairly! I would guess first paid first served may be best Will post again for confirmation to see who still wants one as soon as i confirm it all works.
Not quite as straightforward as i had hoped but if we get one for £25 as opposed to £140 odd then its worth the wait.

Looks like I maybe too late, but if there are any available then please add me to the list.
I'm currently running with a completely blank screen!
Well, my request was for a backup, as touch wood mine is fine at the moment (probably cursed myself there!!) - so I'm happy for you take my place if I managed to make it onto the order I'm currently running with a completely blank screen!

Top fella! :-)
OK Guys, some great news, some good news, and some not so good news.
The great news. The part is correct, the pic below is my Tuscan yesterday with its shiny bright new screen with all the information showing!
The good news. The missing connector is available from RS components, for £3. It took me about an hour to set up and solder it on.
The not so good news. Just enquired again about buying the remaining stock, and if there is any more. Think the guy has used last week to wise up as to how much these are worth, 'cause he cant do the group discount anymore, he has found 11 more stock but cant do the original price he gave me either.
Basically that makes it £40 for the first 20, £60 for the last 11. This is the only place with stock so its not like there is much choice...im sorry about raising false hope originally.
I dont want to be at the source of a bun fight...so the fairest thing to do is to say £50 each screen. This is still less than half the price of the screen from somewhere like TVRCarParts (£140) and i havent any better ideas.
For those that want me to - i would be willing to source and solder the connector on, i was hoping £13 would be fair for this (though i cant do them all at once guys ).
So, its probably best to start the list again...please let me know if you still want one and if you want just the screen (£50) or with the connector attached (£63). Postage will be at cost (bout 4 squid)
