Initial impressions were that I didnt like it but then I saw the TuscanS and loved the faired in lights. Looked better in the darker colours.
A convertible version of that S with out the flamboyant rear "Japanese Max Power" spoiler would be just right.

I also liked the back arches on the convertible. I previously photoshoped a convertible Tuscan and from the rear 3/4 angle it looked like a old Corvette Stingray with its hunched up rear wing/thigh.

I like it. Good luck to 'em. Shame its not a V8.

Funny that as I've said TVR have obviously used the 70s corvette as inspiration!

Now waiting to see what happens to already low second hand tuscan prices. I dont think the first sub £20k tuscans are far off. I might become seriously interested indeed.

I was thinking similar things - more along the line that I think I sold my Tuscan just at the right time!

The profile of the rag top with the hood down looks great. But I like the fact that the present Tuscan is two completely different cars, a convertible and a FHC. I find that the car sounds, looks and feels completely different depending on whether the roof is on or not. If I wanted a rag top though this one looks the badgers Nadgers.

I'm not sure about the lights. I think the current set up gives the Tus a unique, aggressive look. However, I'll reserve judgement till I see it in the flesh.

Can someone tell me what that little metal thing is sticking out of the top of the drivers console. Dont ever remember seeing that on a Tuscan before?

Why do TVR always choose such naff/old colour combinations for the interior of their show cars?

Drop top looks stunning. Likening it to a Griff is NOT a bad thing imo. Yes its an older car but visually it was as close to perfect design I have ever seen. Nothing wrong with borrowing from a legend.

Now, as others have said, lets hope it actually runs as well as it looks

Stylisticly, Yes and No.

Yes I think it's an improvement over the last Tuscan but No, I still don't like it.

The faired in lights look pretty cool in a sort of futuristic type of way but the grill (or lack of) area is still plain wierd. At least there's no cheesegrater.

At the back, the new lights look good, we like the convertible look but WTF happened to the spoiler on the Tuscan S? It was bad, now it's just plain bizarre in a sort of Mad Max type of way .

Still, that's all my opinion and it's not as if there isn't enough choice of TVRs these days!

Bloody hell. They've taken the turd ugly Tuscan and turned it into a thing of beauty. I wonder if my house would look less ugly if I cut the roof off?

I was never a great fan of the original tuscan, the lights at the rear never did it for me, on either the Tuscan or the S. Having said that I think that I lovely, any pics of the rear of the coupe?
