LCD Display Exchange
Discussion
OK,
so yesterday i decided to gather all my braveness and started pulling the pod apart.
Well, not that hard to be honest. The exchange is a one hour job. I might write a short manual on this the next days, if useful.
(I´ve only done the dismantling so far, since the new display didn´t arrive yet.)
Regards,,
Björn.

A new display is around 110 quid. You can get it from Clever Trevor, TVR Power or elsewhere.
There was no way to save that money, since i thought it vital to get informed about the temperatures. Mine had so many missing lines, that it was not readable anymore.
I´ll write a little "how to" as soon as the new display arrives.

Well cheapest would be to call any breaker. Best would be a new one, I guess.
BTW,
sorry guys, I found the threat, but unfortunately the pics are no longer available. I´ll definately post some new ones:

Are the different new options all the same or are there differences?
There is also someone who rebuilds them but no idea of quality or cost.
Looked at this a while agao but found there was not that much info out there and obviously people only tended to do it once so difficult to comapre the options!

Got mine rebuilt twice before it settled down. Still got that weird fault where the screen stays on after the ignition is switched off. You have to press the footbrake to shut the screen down (MK2 Targa)There is also someone who rebuilds them but no idea of quality or cost.
