Will do.
Ive bought the car with shagged suspension so i dont really know what AST feel like when good.
Perhaps ill do a back to back comparison.
AST are 450, gaz are 400 spring rate. So probably gaz a little more GT
In my limited experience, different dampers need different spring rates. I was on 500 lb front and 450 lb rears (track and fast road) on Gaz Gold Pros on my Chimaera. I changed to Racing Reds, and was advised to go 75 to 100 lb lower all round, so I did, and it feels right.Ive bought the car with shagged suspension so i dont really know what AST feel like when good.

So you cannot really divine anything from the spring rates fitted.

Sorry, I was going on the cost of refurbishing Gaz or Bilsteins.
AST are on par with nitron. The problem with all of these shocks is if your going to drive the car every day in what ever weather (pretty much what it wasn't designed for) you'll be needing to have the shocks rebuilt. I think the last conversation I had with nitron they mentioned every 18 months or so.
