Just had the tracking/geometrics done on the Tuscan & have to share computer read-out:
Constructeur Settings
Front: min -1.3mm max +1.3mm
Controle
Front left: -0.5mm
Front right: +5.1mm
After Adjustment
Front left: +0.8mm
Front right: +0.9mm
Constructeur Settings
Rear: min +1.1mm max +2.0mm
Controle
Rear left: +6.3mm
Rear right: -0.1mm
After Adjustment
Rear left: +0.8mm
Rear right: +0.9mm
Cost: GBP110
The driving difference? Night and day zero, camber-tracking, zero brown-pants at plus100mph. Will need to replace tyres, left front was completely shagged on inside...
Trackingnever adjusted before so car left the factory like this...
Thanks www.ineddy.ch/f/services/geometry.php!

It maybe an idea to make this a sticky, as I'm sure some people, who buy these cars don't even think to get the geo checked - I think getting this checked should be the first port of call once you have bought the car because as you say, the difference is night and day, and that difference could save someone's ar$e when negotiating a corner one day!
To be "fair" to the Boys In Blackpool I should mention that this specialist is a stone's throw from Geneva's Lambo, Pagini and Porker dealers who take their new deliveries to him as a matter of course. He said the Italians leave their factories set up just as badly as the Tiv was....
Anyhow I'm just drivin drivin drivin now!
* So smooth through corners now.
* I can drive down a particular deformed road at +60kph without being tossed off the road now.
* I can even change lane on the autoroute at 220kph without the white lines flicking the car around anymore.
Best money I ever spent on the car!
If you're not 100% sure your's has been set up by a specialist, get it booked in!!!

It is fair to say that many cars leave the factory with geometry out of adjustment but dealers tend to take car of this at PDI. Check/ Adjust cambers and front/ rear tracking is part of EVERY service so this problem ought to have been picked up sooner (but your location might explain this not having been the case). The geometry goes out of adjustment during service so it's quite normal for these kinds of adjustments to be necessary. Getting it done correctly is another matter... made all the more difficult by the ever-changing specs!!

Aparently - the factory used to use a frame and bits of string for checking the geometer .. but NS bought the a 50K macking to do it now.
So - hopefully car's are set-up better now.
Is your Tuscan a Mk1 or Mk2, I just sent a similar e mail out to a number of our East Midlands members and many are coming back suggesting Nitron shocks, but as my car has only done 6K it seems a bit of a waste if it is so badly set up. I will see if I can get a local guy to check. I am going down to TVR Power this Wed and I think he will try and sell me Nitrons.
Mine's a Mk1. I still have original shocks. Since the tracking and now 2 new front tyres (unworn on the inside) and proper balancing, I'm 95% satisfied with handling compared to 10% before.
When the shocks eventually go, I'd like to think about Nitrons, but I'm honestly wondering how much of the perceived improvement when switching to Nitrons can be attributed to the tracking/balancing that goes along with the job............... Of course there's only one way to really find out... But I'd advise starting with the hundred pounds tracking/balancing by a specialist.
P.S. my wheels were set up // \ before and certainly were sharper in cornering. Will go back to the specialist to add half-a-gnat's cock toe degrees
