Hi Guys

Looked on ebay and saw that Racing Green are selling a 2000 Tuscan for a Buy It Now price of 11750 pounds. Full service history and only 33K miles - Crystal Topaz with Blue interior - has to be a bargain at that surely?

Or is this the new benchmark price for Tuscans.

Blimey, they are normally quite pricey.

Actually having said that take a look at peninsula at the moment. There is a black Tuscan S I was interested in back in July/August for £47K. it has been gradually reduced down to £29,995

Also there is a blue Tuscan S on there which was £35K in the summer, now £19,995

Looks like the dealers might know something we don't know yet - what possibly are TVR going to announce soon that could devastate prices like this?

Looks like TVR dealers are trying to purge their showrooms of all TVRs so that they can wash their hands of TVR for good - who could blame them?

Could it be a scam, the car is not on their website?

Sadly, I don't think the price is too far out...

33k, no mention of rebuild
16" rims
scruffy paintwork
broken seat
no aircon mentioned
needs a service in around 2k
no doubt the odd other problem

That Nebula Blue Tuscan S @£19995 at Peninsula has been stood down there for Two years.Someone from Nottingham was taking for a test drive on Saturday whilst I was down there.Don't think he was too impressed.Don't think I would want an S6 that had been stood virtually idle for 24 months. All their cars are priced to sell and by the looks of things I wouldn't be surprised (IMO) if Peninsula are waving goodbye to TVR's for good.

I was at Racing Green on Friday, picking up my Tuscan.

There is no secret inside information, nothing 'they know', not a case of getting rid of everything TVR.....its simply a case of adjusting their prices to sell some cars.

They have some great machinery on offer, as always, and now its even better priced....so go take a look.

No one is forcing anyone to buy the cars, no one is trying to trick someone. Its crazy...a dealer simply cannot win. If they drop their prices, people's first thought is..."what do they know that we don't...", when it could mean you can now afford something that you couldn't before. Give them a break.

Anyway, check out their other stock.....lick

Hope this helps.

Yeah had a look at their other TVR stock.

Judging by the prices they're asking for new Tuscan 2s who in their right minds would buy a 2005 one from them for just a couple of grand less? Doesn't make sense IMO.

Ah yes, LB is right, some of those cars have been reduced quite nicely. Certainly their Tamora's are now down to the sort of price I picked ours up for last year.

at those sort of prices I could sell the 911 and get a tuscan AND a Derv Audi as a daily...
(although i'd be terrified of the running costs of the Tiv)

There is always someone trying to de-ramp TVR...

Do you even own a TVR or just trying to push the price down with doom and gloom and sprouting general rubbish ?

Yes I own a TVR, I'm a big TVR fan - are you a real reverend?

I've looked de-ramp up in my dictionary - can't find it - is it a biblical term?

Don't shoot the messenger just because you don't like the message.
