High line brake lights

Been having a play with a couple of indicators I got from one of the breakers. What is the feeling on these lights. Not sure weather they look to chav like or not.

I've removed the LEDs from the board and replaced them with reds. The reds light up with the brake light and the yellows with the indicator in pic two. I know you can get dual colour LEDs, but I'm not smart enough to figure out how to use them. I had to turn down the stop on the base of the led and fit them through the plate. Your faulty ones may just be a dry joint to the board as the units I got had a few on it.

I got the indicators and pods from TVR Dean. The LEDs came from ebay I will try and find the link again as it was a while ago. Whatever you do don't touch the PCB as it's a PITA to repair. I cut the legs from the existing led and found that the corresponding led on the other side went out as well. I was only going to have one line of brake lights at the top but as I say it was a bit of a experimentation. The indicator fault reader seems to be ok with this amount of lights out. The bases of the new LEDs where then removed ( luckily I have a lathe and a daughter who can operate it as it would take ages by hand )so I could push them through the front plate and then it was just a case of soldering them together and connecting them to the brake light circuit which I turned out to be easy to run wires up through the targa bar. I also had to ease the inside of the pod to allow the legs of the LEDs now in shrink tube to fit in easily.

Couldn't find the link for the led supplier but this is what is ok the packet. They supplied the correct resistors with them but ask for more shrink tube if you can


I connected them in groups of four to one resistor
