Tuscan rear screen

I have a Tuscan Red Rose (2001), and it is to great - apart from one thing - the rear screen squeaks so much I am going to go mental. It is fine on days like today (ie not in the car at all), but at any other time no matter what the weather/temp it is unbearable. I have tried felt strips over the rubbers, to no avail. Any ideas please?

Cheers Stu, much obliged. Comiserations on the rebuild. All other suggestions welcome - I have considered bigger window rubbers, but then that might bust the catches...

Cheers for the help. Tried Special V tape today, but the adhesive melted off during the first drive. Spray seems to work better in this weather! Have now found the FAQs too...
