Carbon cans and warranty!

I`ve finally decided that i NEED a pair of carbon cans after the run out last weekend
How ever i remember reading some were that the Factory may invalidate any engine warranty? can any one comment from experience? Also what options are open to me? Do i deal with a dealer/specialist or contact the CCCo direct,are they a DIY fit or other (dealer/exhaust specialist)and last but not least how££££££much?? any other comments?
Tony If you still have a factory warranty and somthing does go wrong I suppose they could say that they caused the problem due to back pressure change etc, although I think quiet unlikely.
They are easy enough to swop back to the orignals if necessary as they are only held on by one clamp with a 10mm bolt. Although saying that I did have problems geting the original cans off at first due to them being on for 2 years, but the last time I swopped them around I had no problems.
If you contact CCC direct they can usually deliver the next day unless you want a very special colour.
