Why have they never put a Tuscan 11 S around that track especially a 4.3 FFF it would embarres a fair few super cars and give a couple of Hyper cars a fright the little runt would slang it though. I can only ever remember a Sagaris going round in a very respectable time. Si

This morning I watched May take the Tuscan 2 vert round Oulton again , it was on DAVE. Impressive... Jackie Stewart liked it and so did May.... and even t tty Clarkson and dwarf had to say " What a shame the factory has closed." For anyone who hasn't see it ... I was going to post the u-tube link... but see BBC Worldwide have stopped it. http://www.youtube.com/index?ytsession=x-6odxzmVU8...

I can only ever remember a Sagaris going round in a very respectable time. Si Why would they? Its no longer a manufactured car. They did a feature on the mk11 convertable with Jackie Stewart when it was first released, the sag, T350 and i seem to remember a Tuscan on there too. Now if RG got on to them and said we have a brand new Tuscan that has all of the previous TVR "issues" fully sorted, how about doing a feature then they may do. Its also worth noting that although they slag them off they only give whats the normal preception towards the brand, they dont say any thing thats not been said before. When they have had them on they actually generally rate them. Like the T350 review they did.

My point is they never put the best and fastest TVR model around the track. The Tuscan 11 S was the best handling and quickest TVR ever produced . They only ever put a Mk 1 tuscan around the track, hardly representitive in mho. I know what these cars are capable of especially with a 4.5 lt engine in absolutly amazing. The only stipulation I would make is that the track would have to be dry, if it was wet it might look a bit silly. Si

The Tuscan 2 was nearly a quick as the Sagaris 1.24.8 v 1.24.6, although it appared not to be an S model you can bet it had a blue printed engine & Ohlins suspension.

It will need to have been a modified S to get that close. A standard 4.0 Tuscan would struggle to get within 2 or 3 seconds of a Sagaris on that circuit. On the 4.3 FFF engine, I undrestand no such beast exists, nor can it be built.

I was surprised how slow the T350 went, given that in the various Autocar handing days the T350 managed to go quicker than a 911 GT3 its time around the top gear circuit was disappointing.
