Right. Lets get this 120 in a 40 sorted out.
It WASN'T a normal urban 40, it was roadworks, which meant that he probably slowed slightly to go through them and then pressed the loud pedal again once he was past. Not really a big deal if the roadworks were abandoned (different matter if there was anyone working though).
I suspect the real kicker was driving without a lisence/insurance.
It does however, worry me that if I was caught in Dumfries & Galloway doing, say, 110 then they would try and charge me with dangerous driving. I would prefer a speeding charge like everywhere else in the country, thankyouverymuch.
