Even comes with optional airbags! I'll take those
What new Lotus? Now, not that I'm complaining, but this style of launch with 2 very tall stunning ladies dressed in black smells a lot like the cheezy old fashioned British niche car launches of the past - Shirley they could have come up with something a bit classier like this:
Meet Shirley!

Sounds like a brand of butter.
I'm at the motor show at the mo - I'll grab some pics of it and post them shortly. Anyone specifically want any shots (eg. interior, back seats etc)?
See if the Loti girls will oblige and flip the seats forward to see how rear seat ingress is.I'm at the motor show at the mo - I'll grab some pics of it and post them shortly. Anyone specifically want any shots (eg. interior, back seats etc)?

Really interested to see how much room there is in the back and what the seats are like, the seats cant be too sloping otherwise an ISOFIX seat wont go in, so cant see them being bucket seats ala Honda CRX!
You have to be a friggin contortionist to get at the seatbelts in the exige to clip kiddies in when theres a child seat in place...how the heck you going do it with this!
In fact...do I really care...sod it, I'm willing to pay for the Chiropractor!

This is simply stunning.
Having previously owned a S1 135 Sport Elise, had a deposit on an M250, followed by a v8 Esprit (which was very expensive to keep on the road) - I currently have a 997C2S.....it's time to return to Lotus.
I'm looking forward to seeing it in the flesh tommorrow, and if it goes like every other Lotus I've owned and driven, then as others have said Lotus are going to have a big queue on their hands.
I really hope the 2000 a year is what their business models says they need to achieve to make their numbers, and not marketing hype to create a big waiting list. If they can really make their case work on 2000 cars a year, they truly have done a stunning job with this car.
Anyone after a 06 997C2S with LSD??
