Right. Lets get this 120 in a 40 sorted out.

It WASN'T a normal urban 40, it was roadworks, which meant that he probably slowed slightly to go through them and then pressed the loud pedal again once he was past. Not really a big deal if the roadworks were abandoned (different matter if there was anyone working though).

I suspect the real kicker was driving without a lisence/insurance.

It does however, worry me that if I was caught in Dumfries & Galloway doing, say, 110 then they would try and charge me with dangerous driving. I would prefer a speeding charge like everywhere else in the country, thankyouverymuch.

He was doing 120 through some roadworks area, that would normally be a 70...everyone assumes its a housing estate not a stretch of dual carridgeway. I for one think its a bit severe the speesing aspect of it.

i live in aberdeen, the A90 is a stupid place to floor it, loads of cameras, police always patrolling, he must have wanted to get caught. if you want to do these speeds there are great deserted roads north and west of inverness.
