Shell gearing up for UK launch of V power

Don't if there has been official confirmation yet, but its definitely happening.

They are currently buying huge amounts of media for the launch, including sponsoring the coverage of the final races in the F1 championship.

Apparently the new tag line will be 'made to move'.

Sounds like its already in many of the pumps, couldn't get confirmation of RON but at least 100, some rumours of 102.

Good news for performance car owners.

I still have not seen this mythical 100RON "V-Power". When travelling through the continent earlier in the year a group of us stopped in Shell stations in Belgium, France and Germany, and although V-Power was at the pumps, it was only 98RON, just like our Optimax...

You're not looking hard enough, it exists in both Germany and the Czech Republic where it's called V-Power 100 believe it or not

It's in Ireland and even if it is 100+ RON it's indistinguishable from Optimax.

I allways thought that Optimax was called V Power in mainland Europe, and they were exactly the same.

who told you that? it's just rebadged optimax to bring the name inline with the rest of europe as far as i'm aware. And although i know germany and some other areas in europe are privvy to 99 or 100 RON stuff, everywhere i've seen this topic discussed has mentioned that we won't be getting it.
