Not, they are heavy and about as much use as a chocolate tea pot.

SP12's if you can get them and you want 18" rims but my preference would be RL7's in 17", light strong look great and a you get a better ride IMHO.

Team Dynamics Pro Mag also look good.

+1 0n this, I sold my 18" SP12s in favor of 17" RL7s, they ride really well on real-world roads.

Despite the negativity against spiders, I'm still going to swap my RL17" for some 18" spiders. I think spiders are the nicest looking wheels on TVR's. I've looked at all the other options but still prefer spiders.....just don't like the look of others.

If you want to ruin the handling and ride and end up with a car that feels skittish driving normally on dry roads then go ahead. If you prefer cars that are all show and no go there are far easier and cheaper ones to live with than a Cerbera though.

Spiders are total cack and utterly ruin the car.

I agree. They look better than those 17" things which just don't suit the car at all. The Spider wheel isn't particularly heavy for its size, and after four years mine are all perfectly round....

They are form over function, absolutely useless as a wheel.

I have spiders on my cerb and I have also ran 17" wheels and have a set of RL7's.

Spiders are the best looking IMHO as for them ruining the cars handling I disagree my cerb drives very well on Spiders and glides over bumps with my Geo set up and Nitrons. A bigger side wall on the 17" wheels is even better for poor road surface but to say spiders are for garage queens is rubbish, I did 700 miles last month with a 2000 mile trip ahead in 9 days smile

Yes they are soft but for a road wheel they are ok and my tuscan was fine on them as well.

Its a pitty they were not made to a better standard as the curves suit the shape of the cerb so well and make it look modern, wheels with sharp edges don't suit the curves of the cerb as well, But thats just my 2p worth smile

Use my Rl7'S for the track as I know a hard hit of a high kerb would kill a spider if I make a dogs dinner on the track, Horses for courses, I have both so I have options.

I'm in the RL17's camp, I think the size suites the car, it looks right, the 40 profile tyre absorbs the poor road surfaces better and it's original look

When I took the spiders off mine it transformed the car.
they are absolute tosh and to fit them for looks alone should be a crime. There are plenty of other options out there.

SP12s are great.

Opinions are...well...opinions.
Facts are facts.
