Probably the last time my mum will be in the passenger seat at the Ring, as the drive from the UK has now become a little too demanding for my parents, who are in their mid-eighties.
However, they've been to the Ring more times that most of my petrolhead mates, once a year for DN track days since DN5 - which was the first time I thought the environment would be as safe for them as could be expected (I really didn't think TF laps was a good idea).
That is Galgenkopf, the very final corner before hitting the Döttinger Höhe straight.
Photo is taken from about the 4:48 point on this video https://vimeo.com/226437692 where I am following a friend in a 928.
Actually this video is better, the photo point is from the very start https://vimeo.com/217291570

I do wish you lot would stop posting your photos.
After umming and ahing about whether to buy a Cerbera or a Chimaera, last autumn i bought a lovely Mk3 Chimaera, but I find myself being drawn to ogling the cars on this thread and I'm sure every now and then I catch myself drooling.

Perhaps I can help - I have a great Chimaera photo from Goodwood, but I can't find a Chimaera Photo Thread, can you let me know if there is?After umming and ahing about whether to buy a Cerbera or a Chimaera, last autumn i bought a lovely Mk3 Chimaera, but I find myself being drawn to ogling the cars on this thread and I'm sure every now and then I catch myself drooling.
