Nope not yet. still a "TVR virgin" What should I expect ?
Well, I remember picking up my 400 from the dealer & driving home with the roof off with a mate as a passenger - we agreed it felt like we were in a WW2 fighter plane or something with the sound & speed & all that. They are pretty fast too. No problems with overtakes & so on. Handling isn't bad either especially with some aftermarket stuff on there.
Cerb is & feels much more like a racer with the screaming high revving V8 & ferocious acceleration that doesn't let up. In the Chim, though it has a lot of torque, the engine gets out of breath at about 5k. They're not slow by any means, but it doesn't have that same *jesus f * king christ!!!my organs are being destroyed* feeling that you get when you floor it in the Cerb at 100mph.
I guess the point is, costs aside, the 2 cars are both fast loud TVRs but are very different in many ways. I'd say if you can afford to drive either one (ie. you're not put off by the potential for the Cerb to cost more) then drive both to see which best matches what you're after smile
