It looks like the full hose set can be replaced with off the shelf silicone hoses for about £70, but that doesn't include the top rad hose. What are the options for replacing that hose?

Shopping list:
35mm 90deg x3
35mm 45deg x1
35mm 1m straight
19mm 1m straight
9.5mm 1m straight
+top rad hose!

I have enough respect for all the products that Act do but a full kit for £70 is great considering it's double the price for the Act kit.

With the Act kit it is just easier as all the research has been done for a direct fit.

I'm looking at ordering the hoses for my birthday well the gf present to me so may hang tight for a while and see what develops

One thing to watch with Tim at ACT is the bottom hose is different on early and late cars. They don't ask year and send the early kit as a default. I just fell foul of that and had to buy a bottom hose elsewhere as Tim was on holiday! I have used ACT many times though and this is a small moan as they have always looked after me. Just a little something to watch!

Can't quite remember who does the hoses for ACT, but find out, ring them and then see if they have a spare top hose they're willing to sell?

£55 inc p&p

I didn't order the 9.5mm for the coolant rails near the bulkhead, I did order 16mm which I forgot earlier.

They've gone on fine, even thought the legs on the 90 degs are not as long as the originals.
