Last night I wrote my Cerbera off in a big way. Both me and my passenger are shaken but otherwise uninjured. The car is totalled, back end/front end everything is gone. The passenger compartment is untouched, my pedals didn't even move, both doors still open and shut and all the glass remained intact despite demolishing 2 gates with concrete gateposts, 30ft of hedge and a fairly substantial tree.
I am now more in awe of that car than ever and I wish you all the best for the future.
I will still be popping in to see you all but time for me to calm down a bit now I think and think of my children.

Sorry to hear about the car Bazz, but glad to hear your o.k..

I had a close escape in mine & it slowed me down somewhat.

I guess the Saab is on order....

Good luck & all the best mate, Russell.

Was taking her for a spin with my 18yr old Canadian Cousin, we came over a rise on an unfamiliar road...not going particularly fast...there was a farm track with gravel spreading across the road, I felt the back end twitch then she went the other way and bang...hit the first gatepost which spun us the other way and up and over a hedge facing backwards....I don't remember much after the 1st bang until we were sat still with ignition beeper going off...I couldn;t bring myself to look across as I thought I had killed my cousin then he asked if i was Ok and I realised he was Ok....then pulled the door release and climbed out over the roof

Sorry to hear this, but at least you and passenger are both OK.

To echo another post - how did it happen? Perhaps there is something we can all learn from this?

You'd just got it back from a light conversion too hadn't you?

Glad you're both ok, cars can be replaced.

Jeez Barry.........so glad you are both okay......

I know it's totalled, but it sounds like the Cerb did a good job of protecting you both.......

firstly glad you are both ok

secondly you need to upload your pics first to Fotango or such like then get a link for them and post here with [pic] before the link and [/pic] after the link with out the spaces on.

Barry, i'm shocked to hear your news
Even more pleased to read you and your passenger are ok.
Always thought the cerb is the strongest TVR
full roll cage, door bars etc.

F**kin *ell Barry.

What can I say, except glad you are both ok.

You've certainly had your 'ups and downs' with the cerbera havent you. What with all the probs at first, and now this.

Yes Barry, The young lady must have been very scared and probably won't get in a car with you again!

Listening to you guys gassing about this one does bring it home alot, as this is your worst nightmere, but aleast you have a happy ending as you were both OK and only shook-up! (although thats bad enough)

I may think twice next time before going a little silly, just to show off.

Good to hear you are both OK though, but sorry about the car.
