what does it adjust ?

Guys
whilst looking under the dash to try and sort some electrical gremlins I found an adjustable rheostst(resistor)
Its slightly smaller than a small matchbox has 2 white wires going into it and has a spindle with a flat on it as though a knob could be fitted to it.
Its tye wrapped to a vertical chassis tube level with my right knee just rear of the right hand fixing stud for the lower dash panel (the one with the louvre blowing at my shins/feet)I found it when I pulled some carpet back.
Any ideas what it does??

I think you will find it adjusts the thermostat for the Aircon.

we did fit a knob to them and fit them to theunder dash cover on export models to japan only.theres nothing to stop you doing this yourself

and if you make it to cold it can literally freeze the pipes solid, so be careful !!

Mine is fitted with a Tuscan window knob sprayed black!

Interesting, when you say "We" did you personally work on Cerbera's at TVR?

have you by any chance got access to a complete set of schematics?(wiring diags)

trackcar.....prefer hugs(maybe a drink first,break the ice,then maybe a meal in a quiet restaurant)sorry gettin carried away.............trooperiziz....total number of cerberas made was 1996 up to and including the very last one(chassis1410)still in the factory........spartacus......powder coat is a nightmare to get adhesion on metal,basically trial and error,fortunately they have got that sorted now.they now sandblast all chassis and powdercoated bits and it doesnt come off......headcase.....schematics,somewhere i think i have got them let me see if i can find them,will let u know if i find them.thats all the questions answered i will now take one question from the floor.......the gentleman in the flowery blouse?????

have left the factory 3 weeks ago thankfully to set up atvr service centre in blackpool,plug time,www.automedon.co.uk end of plug,with another ex factory guy.
