I was trying to see what the best mpg I could get out of the car and was doing well.......until.......

Went for a trip to High Force waterfall and all those lovely twisty roads I couldn't resist it. Shall we say "spirited" driving as opposed to Hooning, but still managed to average 19.39 mpg. I'm sure with more restraint I could get it over 25 mpg, but lets face it, I'd need to be a saint - and I'm not

Best we got on the way back from Le Mans was 25.6mpg, not far off hte best ever - coming back from a trackday at croft - 27. something mpg, near as dammit 28 IIRC. (25.6mpg was with two of us in the car and alot of camping gear/ chairs/ water/ clothes for a week or so etc etc)

???? best I ever get is about 17 mpg and can go down to 13/14. Is there sumit wrong with my car?

It's possible that the multipoint pivoting link assembly connecting accelerator to driver has become worn with use and needs adjusting
