Shinynuts arent doing the cerbera wheel nuts anymore frown does anybody know where i can get a set of decent ones from as the black anodised ones tend to rust quite quick and look a bit cack on the lovely spiders!
Also just fyi, the cerbs getting pampered next weekend! Decats back on, POR15 on the chassis, Optima battery, also going tomorrow to have carpets looked at, the dash changed and get her booked in for some plush black wool! should set the cream interior off a treat! (sorry Nig i know it was your idea) oh and some lovely purple calipers to match the intakes!.....Still using it every day and its still fantastic. 50000 is approaching so i might take it early up to TCS for the 54000 service now shes used a bit more regular, although i checked fluid levels today and she hasnt used a drop! Bloody petrols dear though haha.

They're the same pitch and cone angle as the Jeep Cherolee I beleive as that's what my set of locking nuts cam off. If you can find a supplier for a Stainless version of those then you're in luck

I do not know who supplies the following nuts in th UK, but I found 2 suppliers called Gorilla parts en BRM wheelnuts. These are amrican manufacturers and have the 1/2unf thread. The nuts they have are steel ones with a stainless cap. Ebay.

Cheaper than shinynuts. Phoned them also a couple of weeks ago. Racing Green should stil have stock, but they are slightly more expensive compared to what shinynuts offered.

I have a chrome one in front of me, bought from ebay yesterday for a Chrysler Jeep. The thread is 1/2" unf which as stated suits the Cerbera and I've checked, quality is good...£24.99 + £7.99 shipping for a set of 20.

This nut looks the same as suitable for a spider wheel, however, I'm using the 4.5 original and I'm not sure they'll fit as the 60 degree taper is slightly wider than the nut hex of 19mm. My original nuts are parrell shanked.

Black carpets will really make it look the part I reckon. With the Silver exterior and cream leather, there's no contrast anywhere. Black carpets will give that contrast.

I had more thoughts too... If you ever decided to sort out the driver's seat, I think I'd be tempted to accent the cream with black "patches". If whole sections were done in black, it'd give more of that contrast.

I have to say that I've never really been sentimental about cars. When I sold the Caterham that I built with my own hands, I wasn't sad to see it go. I felt as though I'd "done" the Caterham thing then. I thought I'd feel that way about the Cerb but I confess I miss it. OK, I didn't use it much but to know it was just "there" was enough.

Oh well, plans for its replacement are being forged.

Thanks. Actually, I'd be happy to get along to a Bulls Head meeting. Drop me a note if you're going to one in the future. I'll pop along.

I'll definitely try. I'm going away to Venice for one of the weekends in April. Can't recall when the Bulls Head meetings are. Can you refresh my memory.

I got a nut from a Jeep Cherokee, and they are a different pitch, they weren't too cheap either.

Anyone know where i can get a set of wheelnuts in black as i have anthracite spiders and am sure stainless wont look the best? Is it worth powdercoating some or will this not be worth the effort? Sorry for the slight hijack biggrin

They came today and they fit, brilliant and cheap too but don't look it, don't know what the garage gave me to try.
