Right, have been instructed (thanks Mark) to suggest a possible group run down to Gooders for the Supercar Sunday on the 1st of June. Format will be exactly the same as the "Modern Sports Car Legends" one we did in April, hopefully this time without the snow. That format being :

mappety map

  • Meet point 1 (A on map, zoom in for detail) - 0700 at Ladymead Retail Park, Europa Park Rd, Guildford. 0700 for departure sharp at 0715. We wait for no man (or woman), so if you are late you are playing catchup (what's the betting I am late??)
  • Meet point 2 (B on map, zoom in for detail) - 0745 at Petworth Car Park for 0800 departure sharp.
  • Destination (C on map) - Arrive Goodwood 0830. Eat, shoot and leave (when ready).
Route is basically, leave Guildford on A3, 5-6 miles later take exit for A283 and follow said road to Petworth to meet with others; leave Petworth on A285. Approx 1 mile from destination turn right off the 285 onto "New Road", upto Roundabout and take a left, Entrance point is 100 metres on the right hand side. However if we follow the "keep a car in your mirrors" rule then we should be able to stick together.

Mind if another non TVR joins in?smile Will be coming straight from a 12 hour nightshift at Heathrow, so it makes sense to go via Guildford rather than heading back to Horsham and going down that waywink

No probs, good to see everyone thumbup Hope the pace was ok on the run down (I do hate leading) was trying to find a balance between reasonable progress without needing heroics from anyone (given it was might have been a wee bit slippy in places) - if anyone felt it really slow then I'll just resort blaming the sea of red that we had to follow from Petworth biggrin

Harry, sorry not to have seen you but glad you made it, we were a little bit dispersed but I guess the majority of us that ran down together were in the car parking near the Vitra. Great day and some fantastic cars about - even the weather held good.
