So far it has spent more time at Offord than with me ;(

The good news is that apart from the usual niggles (and the deer damage) there is nothing much wrong with it.

Front disks are warped but as they are newish I'll take it up with the supplier, diff bushes need doing, chassis needs a waxoil, it needs a new temp sensor, rear arb needs adjusting, ac needs some gas and the front warm vent has become disconnected (like a bleeding furnace in there).

Whilst they have the wheels and disks off I've asked them to shove an hid kit in.

Ding dong happy days..

I presume you had the car inspected before you bought it and knew all about these issues though right? hehe

Lets not get into Offord bashing, it was just about the car. If anyone has a view on offord then I'd like to hear it via email.

Cheers

No, I decided against it (the previous owner did encourage me), the only thing that I did not know about was the diff bushes and I had an inkling that they would need doing as they had not been done...

It's a Cerbera for crying out loud, of course it needs cash throwing at it wink

I've just got mine back from Offord after they had it 5 1/2 weeks to fix the part that drives the water, oil and P/s pump.

I too had thought the Diff bushes have failed, ordered up some poly ones, went to fit them and found it already had new poly bushes and a new diff cradle. Seems that there is play in the output shaft, diff as noisy on acceleration and decceleration. Back to Offord on Monday for them to have a look frown

I've only had it for 2 1/2 weeks

I too would be interested to know of any feedback on Offord, barrysheldrickatmsn.com

Lol, I'm sure I could find somethig wrong with yours wink Anyway the main reason it had to go in was the bleedin deer incident last week, I suppose if I'd been driving yours in it's Santa colours might have attracted more of the flipping things !

Hows the sale going?

I wouldn't worry sir. I bought mine on the 25th Oct and on the 26th the rad almost let go and the following day the diff went pop ! So far i have only had the pleasure of driving it home from where i bought it from. It goes into Taylor TVR on Saturday for the diff to be sorted.

Your car is mega, I'm sure it'll soon go. However as a fomer and then current Cerb owner I suspect you'll soon get the itch again wink

Good luck for tomorrow. Dropped mine off today at Taylor TVR and pick it up next week with a bit of luck.

My clutch lasted 2 weeks so I'm now a fully fledged Cerb owner smile

All back, utterly mega, grinning from ear to ear.

Just need to get the paint sorted now but I will leave that until the new year..

(also need to wait until it gets dark so I can see if the lights are much better).
