paint code help!
Discussion
the plaque is on the inside of the passenger side front wing, up the front near where the bonnet hinges, this will show you the body code number, if you look up the code on this list you can find out the colour, the problem is that i can't find a match for my code, there is a code similar TVR.*0011 which says its alloy blue, so i would be interested if any one has got a tvr in this colour and what their code is.

ordered new shocks from ACT, new tyres go on saturday and should be in for a 12k services at Taylor TVR on monday all going well. at the painters at the moment, he managed to remove most of the little marks.
didn't pick it up until sunday and was down the bodyshop that night so haven't had much time on it, the drive back went well and all seems good at the moment. passed a chimaera by the M11/M25 interchange, gave a freindly wave and i think he wanted to play but didn't want to push it until i've given it a proper shake down, not that he stood a chance

thanks malcolm, i've heard that your the best man for the job, my painter will be pleased. i spoke to dan from taylor tvr and he said he might know someone who knows someone, who used to work at the factory, so don't be surprised if you get asked this question again in the next couple of days. thanks very much

Glad to see you are putting new tyres on. The old one's may be OK but it is a risk not worth taking.didn't pick it up until sunday and was down the bodyshop that night so haven't had much time on it, the drive back went well and all seems good at the moment. passed a chimaera by the M11/M25 interchange, gave a freindly wave and i think he wanted to play but didn't want to push it until i've given it a proper shake down, not that he stood a chance

Not getting that one has helped me decide what I now want. It will not be easy to find and may take some time but I am sure there is my ideal Cerbera out there somewhere. I still have my existing one to play with for now.

Being of an earlier generation I have not yet worked out how to put photos on the web. Probably too lazy.
I may well do all the work on my existing one but equally I might turn it into a track day car. Undecided at the moment.
Basically I want the best late Cerbera 4.5 RR in a colour combo I like that I can get with as few miles as possible. I know this is probably like looking for hen's teeth but it's my current thinking.

We chipped it up to the nexa chip it is pretty darn close for what parts we are painting i think the colour will be tip top.
I wouldn't feel comfortable going panel to panel though, there might be to much variation in the shade.
I'm sure i will ask in the future for matching.

Mine is looking for a new home????

Love it to death but i am away from the UK too much and resally want an enthusiastic TVR man or women to give her the attention she really wants?
Stunning looking car I must say but I am looking for a very low mileage late car pref Red Rose. You should bump you ad. onto the first page - it may help. You don't mention the chassis condition. If it's been done or is very good say so. It is the first thing most of us want to know.

I have found a 2003 with 2000 miles (not RR) but they want £38995 for it which I think is probably £10k above the market at present (but hopefully not in the future).
I must say Greenm's car looks stunning and has had all the work done on it. If I was in the market for something like a Merc/BMW/Audi I could understand the hang up of wanting a late model low mileage example. But in the Cerb world I dont think that rule applies too much. £38k does seem a lot for that RR one you mentioned, but even if it was £10k less, I'd still be nore than tempted with Greenm's one, and have £10k in my pocket. Hang on in there Greenm, I'm sure it'll sell, it looks too good to sit around for long - stick an ad in Sprint.
