Attached are a couple of photos of the progress of the respray on 4.2. It's being sprayed by the same guy who sprayed boosted cerbs LS1 conversion. He has had a nightmare with the front end, think he ended going back to the gel coat!! Should be top coat soon then a set of SP12's......can't wait!!

Pentland Green, it's a dark metallic grenn .....it's the original colour, apparently an Aston Martin colour. Can't wait to get it back!! Will be painted next week ready for me to get back for Easter!! A couple more photo's below

Tell your painter to get rid of the Mastic rings round the holes where the light pods fit. Otherwise they won't fit properly when you put them back on.

Thanks for the tip. He had a real nightmare getting the pods off, there were no bolts and nuts to be seen, both pods had been sikaflexed on, needless to say....2 new pods required!!

the mastic rings are solid sikaflex,ive skimmed them down and now using them as spacers to sit the pods at the right height now
so i can use minimal amounts of soft mastic on re-asembly so easy removal for the future if that makes sense lol
