Verdi will supply a warranty, which is extendable to 3 yrs. I appreciate the problem with manifolds and/or valve guides. However, i feel it's more important to speak to and get to know the people who make their living out of these cars . They will offer a honest and objective risk assessment and give you a "real world" guide to keeping your car in good condition.
BTW, i have nothing to gain from Karl selling you a car. I am a friend of Karl's, though and will declare that here so there's no confusion.

Al, where you going in Spain? Putting the finishing touches to a hoon in Spain next year. Worth considering your stomping ground?

I think Burriana Beach is near Nerja, about an hours drive east of Malaga airport.

Sorry Nick, completely overlooked your question!

Yes, there are some great roads, especially the back road from Granada down to Almuneca via Otiva.

Also the main road from Murcia across to Granada over the top of the Sierra Nevada is supposed to be pretty spectacular in an open plains on top of the world kind of a way!

Oh no it wasn't, see Shnozz's post.
I started thinking about the possibilities just before PistonFest.
Just have to find someone who wants a Griff resplendent with new carpets and paintwork now

oh

On which point, I still need to get in contact with you for the balance. Don't you still have my card details from the first payment Nick? If so, just use that.

Right, I've done my bit. Who's bringing the Lambo!

you've lost me there Ben.

You are welcome to go for a jaunt anytime, though it's not quite as quick as the TVR... however does go round corners rather well

Thanks Tim - i was going to email you with the news. thanks for all your help and advice in the early days (seems so long ago!).

So, which exhaust sounds closest to an F1 while STILL keeping the cats on?

IMO, the Tubi isn't high pitched enough. What do you reckon?

Decat it and tubi it - anything above 5000rpm and its pure formula one.You can live with it on the motorway no probs.I did 1100 kms last thursday at around a constant 160kmh and didnt get a headache or anything.
