My mate has just bought a 355 after a couple of months searching. He has a tubi fitted. Comparisons to the Factory sports exhaust could mean a cash outlay very soon.....

Nick - Liverpool & Victoria are being arsey about de-catting it, saying I won't be covered. i am going to have to have words and find out while they will insure some decats, but not others!

I think (not 100% certain though) that i would like a slightly higher pitch than a Tubi, but hopefully I'll hear some to compare at SeeRed.

Unfortunatley not mate just had the car in for a service. New front disks,pads and tyres ££££ so i will be laying low for a while

You were considering the 355 style light/challenge grill things earlier on in the "which car to choose" decision. Having seen the black on yellow - with both sets of slats (on the door and by the rear lights) looking rather mean - seems a shame to even consider the conversion.

Sounds great, will definately be up for a ride at the next big PH event!! Ferrari V8s, especially spiders, have never really been about massive straight line speed in the same way that TVR's are. They are about howling V8 f1-style sound tracks, admiring gazes and of course - every single "shluck-clack-shluck" gearchange!

Edited to add: Dont forget to get a few Griff/348 piccys before the 500 goes...

I remember someone mentioning that it can be done and I may have said that I quite like the round lights of the 355... but I definitely prefer the look of the 348 and wouldn't dream of putting bodywork from another model on it... an exhaust from another source maybe :devil:
