It's just my own hunch to be honest, I could be way off. There are smaller car hire firms, especially in the Luton area, not too friendly owners, if you know what I mean.I suppose it is also possible that this wasn't an 'attack' aimed at Aleem, but maybe those who actually hired the car for the wedding/event.
Clearly the perpetrators knew that the car would be at this location at this time.
It won't be long until it is back on the road though as the damage doesn't appear to be 'that bad' (from the images available).

Fire and water damage, I'm not too sure. Likely to be written off? The electrics are probably friedClearly the perpetrators knew that the car would be at this location at this time.

I just saw the fire damage which looked to have only damaged the passenger seat and part of the dash. It didn't seem to engulf the bodywork at all. Time will tell.

Good point about the water, didn't think of that.

Vid shows the whole interior engulfed in flames, this may possibly have weakened the carbon pod-structure that forms the cabin, i don't know I'm not an expert.
Secretly i hope it's sold privately the running gear is removed and transplanted into something crazy hahaha
I would just like to state i have nothing to do with pet or aleem. However the guys who are saying he poses with daddys car etc etc.
You are missing the point completely, he works as a part of the firm his sole job is to promote the business. Guess what with 150,000 odd instagram followers he is doing a pretty good job. It is because of his daily social media updates that it was instantly recognizable that it was his car. All the pet plates and social media is making the business bigger and bigger. He's turning the pet cars into cars that people want to be seen in so they can claim that they have rented a pet car if you know what i mean. Me, personally i wouldn't ever rent a super car but to a lot of people being seen in them is what its all about.
Its a shame that such a nice car has been destroyed though.

I don't really have an opinion on PET/Aleem whatsoever - but this is a horrible act to have happened to anybody's car. Can you really not park your car on the road without expecting it to get firebombed? The mind boggles.....I do hope the perpetrators are caught and a suitable punishment is forthcoming.

With the sort of criminality the PET founder is involved with (search google for '£180 million Birmingham') I am not surprised if they have no enemies.

That explains a lot.http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news...
Why is it the case that one has to have a binary point of view on this? i.e. if you say you're not surprised that it happened it doesn't follow that you're condoning it.
Just like walking around certain neighbourhoods at night is a bad idea, being extremely ostentatious with your/relative's wealth, or being well known whilst having murky connections, can lead to negative reactions. You can be observant of that fact whilst still finding the vandalism abhorrent.

Completely irrelevant, stick to the subject.http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news...
Who is NiceTail? It seems very odd that he/she has signed up purely to comment on this thread, and then to tell us what is and what is not relevant. It wouldn't be the most complicated piece of detective work for his IP to be tracked and him asked to explain his whereabouts on the night in question. I'm not pointing fingers, but he seems to know a lot more than we do.
