Why have you also got a 328, which last time I checked was a V8.

I also note that you have been trying to sell your V12 for the last 3 years and the most you have been offered are 4 sheep, 12 chickens and a c0ck.

Notice the 911 in left hand lane at lights.. That's probably Fulham911 being drowned out

Now I understand why he's so upset

Ahhh....you're assuming that he has a 911.

For all we know he could be driving an old beetle, or maybe he's one of those tree hugging flower power environmentalists!

Saw you fellas out on your 'run' - looked like a bunch of self loving muppets too me. Fulhams right. "Look at me in my ferrari" - how embarassing. My little boy pointed and said "daddy are those people all lost." Get a life.

Been called in as back-up perchance?

If that's violet coloured, I think I've seen that car being driven by a woman in Chelsea.

Fullhams girlfriend? Or Fullham herself?????

a) It’s being done first thing in the morning presumably because no-one’s about and the roads are empty so some decent speeds can be reached.

You mean drive at illegal speeds and endangering other road users! Don't say this is incorrect.... otherwise I may not come to the next tunnel run.

t1grm said:

b) Most of the tunnels and roads in question will have no or minimal pedestrians (particularly at that time of morning)

As if pedestrians would know what a TVR is anyway!

t1grm said:

So the object of the event is to enjoy (the noise of) the cars in the optimum environment and to hell if no one’s watching.

We did the same thing. Only being central London there happened to be lots of people around. Fortunatly we did'nt mange to run anybody over.

t1grm said:

The Ferrari event on the other hand was staged on a weekend afternoon around streets run alongside some of London’s biggest tourist attractions and that you’d struggle to get a Ferrari out of 2nd gear in with all the traffic. I can only assume this was to gain maximum exposure to pedestrians/tourists and to hell with the driving experience.

errr..... it was called the Poseur run.

I do not know "fulham911" at all, just because I agreed with the man does not mean I have dinner with him. This just concretes my opinion that MOST, not all Ferrari drivers are not in the real world. You lot do not appear to have the brains to realize alot of Fulham's post were tongue in cheek, so you have lowered yourselves to a common mudslinging competition. Its about as pathetic as the original posing run you all went on.

And which car in the Ferrari range would compete with a GT2? Sure, they look pretty, but Ferrairs are like footballers wives, nice to look at but empty inside....the mechanicals are light years behind Porsche's finest. You all know this, that is why you have tried to rubbish the Porsche drivers on here, but we have risen above your pathetic level.

Gary.

Pity you did'nt tick humility and sense of humour on the Porsche options list when you purchased it.

Ferraris are just a way of shouting about wealth. Porsches are the real deal. Strong residuals, reliable, understated and above all else driveable.

I just cant understand why a person buys a ferrari and then want to drive round revving it. Am i missing the point?

Next time you're at Oriel let me know and i'll do a drive by with tubi's blaring!

Its not about sides, a 348 of any year or spec is simply not worth £40000, what part of that FACT do you not understand?

Piggy, you know as much about Ferrari 348's as you do 911's, which is'nt a lot.

Be careful of siding with Fulham....he is a troller for sure. You'll just make yourself look an idiot.

If he's a troller what does that make you? His replies had more humour than you have brain cells.

First of all I would just like to apologise about the way this thread has gone.

What turned out to be an informative thread has clearly turned into childish name calling.

I for one will try and act in a more mature manner.

Like hell I will
