Pic's of my lovely Gallardo! At last

Lower Thames Street - opposite the Man Financial boys.I think Cabot Square would have been slightly easier on the eye! Good to see you had the roof down by the way - the amount of 355/360/DB7/996 owners that can't seem to locate the 'roof down' button amazes me - why pay a premium and not use the thing?

James,
do you work for Man? They're the only brokers i can think of at the mo who could afford a Gallardo !
Hey Jim......absolutley love your car....would be my colour choice.....Just a quick question.....I am looking to change cars again next spring (after bonus natch) and am looking at either the 997 or DB9 at the mo...but the lambo is definatley creeping in .....the only thing really holding me back is reliability....having owned a couple of TVRs I really could do without those kinda headaches again .....have you had any hint of trouble yet?
Snazza,
mate, I went through EXACTLY the same thought process - the two Porkers I've had previously have always been 100% perfect with regards to reliability etc and I was so nervous of getting overly familiar with 'Lambo Assist'. Like you I am not the most patient of souls and if something goes wrong - I'm the first to start pulling my hair out......but.....Its a Lambo....did you hear that....A LAMBO!! It's built by Audi now and so far (i.e 3 weeks) it's been on the button.....time will tell if I am in the honeymoon period still. The key is approaching this with the right attitude. If you are thinking rationally and logically , you buy the 997 (mine arrives in May 05 so I've covered myself there - it's even a bloody tiptronic) and live a very happy life with it. Being in trading you know that a trade is just that, a trade - no emotions , just a profit or a loss - take your trading hat off and get in touch with your emotional side Snazza - the Lambo makes no logical sense at all - It's overpriced, its too powerful, it attracts too much attention (tourists LOVE this car!), it has no ground clearance, Its stereo is the same as that in a £16k A4.......but who cares? You'll get few chances to own a Lambo in your life before kids and shopping (use the 997!) come along to take prority..as long as you enter the transaction with the right expectations - you will love this car. If you don't - accept that you'll take a small bath when you chop it in in 3 months and do it anyway. I promise you though - the Gallardo is on a different planet to the 997 in terms of performance and more importantly drama.
I guess I'm saying that you should be PH'er number 3 to own one.

Jim....you are absolutley right!!! ....kids and death around the corner....lets do it!!......just spoken to Steve at Lamborghini London, will be going for a hoon around Millbrook on the 11th of September in both the manual and e-gear versions!!!...cant wait!!.....dont you just love US holidays?? already bought a plasma TV this mng ....and now nearly a Lambo!!!!! god someone stop me!!
Jim, utterly phenomenal car and having seen a few knocking around even in these here provinces, I am bound to acknowledge my virtual conversion to it's astonishing prescence which I'd previously derided.
Best of all, probably, is that noise - and I thought the spirit of Sant Agata had been lost!
A colossal hail to thee, old bean.
Snazza - quality enthusiasm - are you by any chance familiar with the film American Physco?

On the question of reliability, I can tell you my car (8000km) is exceeding all expectations. Always had BMW or Benz before so my standards are high.
Had a door pull and speaker cover replaced (not right on delivery), and that is it. The main problem with the car is that it takes over your life. If you can manage that, Tam Girl, you should go for it.

Hey James, it seems we've got more in common that just our names
