Poseur Run Videos
Discussion
First off, I don't succumb to the misconception that Ferrari owners are rich, arrogant tw@ts.
Most of the Ferrari owners I know, are all genuine enthusiasts, who happen to have the means to afford such cars - 355's & 360's - and they are neither arrogant nor are they tw@ts.
This very website does wonders to dispel such myths, although your "Poseur Run" does the exact opposite.
As for the "Ehos", I really have confused you with this one, haven't I?
Put it this way, do you really think the guys back in Modena built these cars to be driven in convoy around central London, sitting in a queue and reving the engines?
No, these cars are built to be DRIVEN - that is what I'm getting at when I mention the "Ethos", which as I said originally, would appear to be the opposite of what is depicted in your "Poseur Run".
Look, other people in this thread have said same thing as I have - go and pick on them!!
Each to their own, you obviously had fun, and as you said, it didn't hurt anyone.
Let's agree to disagree on this one, as I'm not going to get into any further arguments about it!

Did'nt they do that with the F1 cars down Regent Street last year?

Could I afford a Ferrari? Yes, I could, however I have other, more pressing priorities than spending 60k+ on a car.
Errrm, doesn't that mean u can't afford one?
Oh please....
Its a fair comment.
And wrt your explanation of the Ferrari ethos, if drivings all they are about why do they seek out the finest design houses to pen their cars?
I have just watched both of these clips, and read this thread.
Whilst I agree running a red light is a bit naughty, its not exactly uncommon in all classes of driver once in a blue moon. So in an attempt to keep the convoy intact, its entirely forgivable.
Yes, sitting at a red light and revving your engine is a bit childish in a Ferrari to some people who like to behave properly. To them I can only say, lighten up and live a little.
If I was in London and was confronted by several Ferrari making that noise, I would have a big smirk on my face and enjoy the moment. Because I am a petrol head. Although I doubt any man with red blood in his veins would'nt.
Pay no attention to these party pooping comments chaps. You obviously enjoyed yourselves and did not cause anyone any harm, and thats what counts in this relatively short life we have.

Oh my god, just read some of the comments on this thread and I am gobsmacked!! Lighten up some of you, this isn't a sight you see every day and it's good to see people with such machinery driving and enjoying them instead of being locked up in a garage.
You done a good job Angelis, shame I couldn't make it. It isn't easy cruising up West with 3 exotic machines in convoy, trust me, let alone the tens you had along! Well done fella, great pics.
Shame not everyone can experience these types of run outs in the company of such exotica, boyhood dreams and all that, I love it and more of it I say…..….T

Just read this thread me self, god there are some nasty gits on here My own interpretation of the ferrari ethos is busting at 180mph were ya can, cornering hard and fast were ya can, and paying the big bloody ferrari bills Oh yes.

Top video Angelis. It looks like a really good day and as for the revving, if the crowd wants it then why not put even bigger smiles on their faces. I am sure that virtually everyone who took their car along also goes on the runs in the countryside on long flowing roads, but this was something very different and I for one will be happy to see the next run in April!

In fact, it was agreat time had by all including and especially the pedestrians who were all smiling and waving.
Are you sure they were smilling and waving and not making rude signs / motions (resembling the "OK" sign but with a somewhat different meaning) and laughing AT you.
If you start doing this on a regular basis then you all need to take a long look in the mirror and ask why? It serves to give all who drive a sports car a bad name and where associations such as big car / small dick come from. But maybe you do!!!!!

If I do have a "small dick", I at least KNOW how to use it properly.
If you did'nt have your head up your arse, you'd have a chance to view the videos and see for yourself what the peoples reaction was.

Each to their own I say. Perhaps you'd be better off on the 'power shower fitting' thread..

How pathetic. why can't people just enjoy themselves. We didn't do any harm to anyone. You just had to see the pleasure on the faces of little kids who dream of cars like this to feel ok about the whole thing. There were no losers on that day. Just a lot of smiles
There were no losers on that day
*cough*
Yes there were - all of us on this site lose.
This sort of behaviour is the reason why our hobby/love/pastime is under threat from lentil muchers, the cops and jealous folk who spit on your car when it's parked......... I notice that the video spends most of its time showing the people watching you while you rev the b0llocks off your cars at a standstill - presumably to see if they are looking at you.
Why not book a track day and really drive them? Or is that not of interest becuase there won't be anyone LOOKING at you, or maybe because you'll realise that you're actually nothing special in the driving game?
Do us all a favour and keep it on the track.
