Wow, can't believe this. Really sorry guys, you must be shaken up about it. Suprising how many of you guys are on here and knew them. It seems it's a small world afterall.

You really do have to be so careful on these track days. I've read before that the run off's at the ring are pretty minimal.

Very sad to hear such news about fellow car fans. I didn't know either but feel bad enough so can't imagine how family and friends are feeling - my condolences to all.

I'm planning to visit the 'ring on my return from Italy in August - I shall certainly be thinking of them, and will try to control my right foot.

It's very sad to hear this tragic news. My condolences go to their family and friends. Goes to shows that the Nordschleife is a dangerous circuit, take care.

My condolences to the family and friends.

As an aside please can we all be careful out there? This brings the total PH'ers (or their friends) killed in performance car accidents in the last 12 months to at least 5 now. What with that and the untimely passing of jondokic it’s been a depressing period on here in this aspect

I've spoken to Wolfgang Eisert to ask him to pass our collective condolences to Amar and Jens family.
I think some of the stuff on Ferrarichat is a disgrace.

Wolfgang also told me that despite the details of the accident, Amar and Jens didn't suffer for even half of 1 second.
The accident occured on the 25th Anniversary to the DAY of Niki Laudas famous smash in his Ferrari on the same circuit... unbelievable.

Con Saluti Cordiallismi Jens and Amar.

Also my condolences, from a Lotus guy who lives in Germany and knows the Ring quite well.
I really hope nobody knows the true figures how many people get killed on the Ring every year. Really makes you think about it ...
